Zero
Middlemen between our makers in Morocco and our showroom
We don't work with suppliers. We work with artists.
That distinction is not marketing. It changes everything.
Every piece you see here was made by someone — a weaver high in the Atlas, a potter in Tamegrout, a cabinetmaker in the Marrakech medina.
People who have been doing the same thing for years, sometimes decades, because it is their trade and their pride. And people we have worked with since 2017.
Chosen in the workshop, in person
Every piece in our catalogue was chosen during a workshop visit in Marrakech. We never order blind.
Complete transparency
Origin, materials, techniques — we state all of it. Authenticity is not a marketing line here. It is our daily reality.
A showroom made for touching
Nothing replaces the moment you put a hand on a rug and know, immediately, that it is the one. That is why we have a showroom.
The Berber weavers
High in the Atlas, these women make our rugs on traditional looms. When you lay a Medin'Art rug in your living room, you feel the difference — even if you cannot say exactly why.
The ceramic masters
Tamegrout is home to potters whose green glazes exist nowhere else in the world. Our vases carry a thousand-year-old story. On its own on a sideboard, one is enough. With a dry branch in it, it is perfect.
The cabinetmakers of the medina
The table you choose is a way of living you are claiming. An armchair you keep for twenty years is a choice you never regret. Not stopgap furniture. Pieces you hand down.
The metal masters
The light you choose changes the colour of your evenings. Literally. Our lighting and mirrors are made by craftspeople whose skills go back to the Middle Ages.
The Moroccanart of living.
We are two Moroccan friends who grew up in Marrakech, surrounded by all of this.
Today we share the same love and respect for Moroccan craft and the Moroccan art of living. It matters to us to carry that craft to Switzerland and bring it straight into your home.
Medin'Art offers you a selection of pieces for your interior, sourced directly from Moroccan craftspeople whose skill and imagination are sought after the world over.
Before you decide, come and touch.
That is what our showroom is for. Just you, the pieces, and someone on hand if you have questions.
